WHISPER – Lynette Noni (Honest Review)

Genre: Young Adult – Science Fiction
Target Audience: 14+
Rating: A (90%)
Goodreads Rating: 5/5

‘Jane Doe’ has been locked away and experimented on for over two years, when suddenly her routine is changed, because if she keeps remaining silent, she might not have a choice in what comes next.

A very engaging and exciting novel from the author of ‘Akarnae’. Lynette Noni is a wordsmith with the ability to locate your heart within the pages and tug, tug, tug. She will make you love, hate, love, hate characters like a god damned yo-yo. She does it so well, that you’re certain that it’s you that has the problem and not the characters within the novel. I promise you, that within the first few chapter, it will have you hook, line, and sinker. You won’t be able to help yourself, you’ll have to finish it.

AND GOD DAMN. There’s a second book, and I still can’t believe how far away it is. I know that November is only a hop, skip, and a jump away, but my grubby hands need a copy of the book now. LIKE YESTERDAY, now.

If you want to hop onto a rollercoaster book, one that will take you high only to plummet you back to earth, then this is the book you’re looking for. It will make you laugh, and love, and cry. It will make you yearn for some of the connections they have, and wish you could jump between the pages.

The break down of my rating:
Characterisation: 9/10
Style & Tone: 9/10
Enjoyment Factor: 9/10
