Life Update: Easy Going

MENTAL HEALTH

I’m happy. Something has triggered the happy endorphins in my brain and I’m not complaining at all. I’m keeping myself hard at work — whilst also giving myself any much-needed break that I need. I can tell the stress and sadness is still lingering somewhere deep in my mind, like a stain that just won’t come out. For now, I’m ignoring that sensation, for now I’m focusing on the energy and happiness that I seem to be feeling.

HEALTHY EATING & FITNESS

I’ve disregarded the fitness side of things for the moment. Right now, I’m trying to focus on getting my eating right. I’m tracking my calories, I’m eating more fruits and veggies. I’m not reaching for the chocolate bar when I crave something sweet, instead it’s watermelon or apples or strawberries. The sugar addict in me is disappointed whenever I make these choices, and it’s hard to stay stern at that voice, but I’m going to. My health and mental health is far more important than any chocolate or sugar.

In a few weeks time, when I feel confident that I’ve got my eating sorted, I’m going to start my walks back up.

THIS WEEKS EVENTS

Masks were extended in QLD. I still have the luxury of being able to do things, but just at a distance and wearing a mask. That’s nothing to get mad at. Hopefully by my next update, we’re mask free.

GREAT NEWS! I got my birthday present/ graduation present from my Dad this week!! I mean, my birthday is still a month away, but AHHH!!! I’m so, so, so excited. I’ve been in the process of painting them, they’re going to be black to match my other shelves. I might not have a whole lot of space in my room at the moment though, since one has to remain laying down to paint. (Shut up, I’m short).

Other good news is that I’m picking up my new desk! I’m going to have more of a structure to my “office” that way I can truly feel like I have a place I can work. Where everything has its spot and everything stays safe. Currently, my “office” is a bit of a mess. Things are all over the place. I need some serious organisation.

In other news, I’m thinking about reducing my YouTube posts from 3 a week to 2. There’s a lot of work that goes into a YouTube channel that consistent and I don’t think I have the time to edit 3 videos, not well anyway. So, I think it’s healthy to reduce it.

Nothing else is really new.

Thanks for checking in on me! Have a great week.

Tash.
